But there are some credentials required to qualify for Florida Virtual Notary, LLC that not all remote notarizations may require. We have found that these requirements help us ensure the identity of the signer and the validity of his or her notarization.
These desired credentials EXPLAINED:
The software we use to authenticate each signer’s identity can only authenticate United States Citizens. Additionally, the DocVerify software uses the following information to create questions for the signer’s identity proofing questions:
- Social security number
- Valid Driver’s License or Identification Card
- United States phone number
Signers must be 18 years of age. This is a legal requirement unless you have been deemed an adult by the State you reside in. Signers must have access to a Computer, Tablet, or Smart Phone with audio and video capabilities along with internet access.
