As you may know, Florida has provided remote online notarization beginning on January 1, 2020. However, the notary blocks on a signers document may not always reflect this change. When this occurs, the notary may have to attach a notary block page also known as a certificate. Florida Virtual Notary, LLC does have that option available. In the State of Florida, the notary block MUST contain the following to be valid:
- Venue
- Acknowledged or Sworn language
- Online notarization specification
- Indicate whether the signer is personally known or identification provided
- Notary Signature
